#lasColoradas is my 1st signature piece and was inspired by the my trip to Cozumel, Mexico. During my trip, I met some pretty amazing people and of course, we connected on Instagram. While perusing one of my new friend’s feed, I saw her posed in front of a pink lake. I was immediately captivated. Upon further research, the pink lake was real and is actually called Las Coloradas, located in the Yucatán peninsula. Its pink color is contributed by a specific type of algae. Have you ever been?
